Objectives

•    Bringing non-school children from the adivasi villages to the non formal education centres and to admit them to formal schools       afterwards in order to decrease school dropout’s numbers in the area.

•    Providing functional literacy to adivasi children.

•   Combining knowledge of local culture, environment, rights with functional literacy to equip children to the formal education      system while building a sense of cultural identity.

•    To provide education to non literate and school dropouts among the denotified and nomadic communities.

•    To combine components of formal education with community knowledge systems and traditions.

•    To re- introduce children to formal schooling.

•    To encourage education among girl children.
